Can you live on $7.25 per hour? Work a 40 hour week, earn $290 per week and bring home less than $1000 per month? Neither can anyone else. The minimum wage today buys less than it did in 1956, and the richest 1% in America are hogging almost 24% of the national income. People are working hard, and their children are going hungry. It's got to stop.
